London
Tea & Coffee: After visiting the most famous Londinese Museums (among which the majority are free-entry), you will be able to finally relax while sipping on a tea or coffee in the museums’ cafeterias. Among all of them we recommend the sixth floor restaurant at the Tate Modern Gallery. It offers a wonderful panoramic view over St. Paul’s Cathedral and London city.
Harry Potter: For all the Harry Potter’s fans it will be great to visit several of the locations where the saga was set: for example, in London’s train station of King’s Cross there is an actual track called 9 and three quarters, the one through which, in the film, the little wizards go to Hogwarts, peculiar for its design of the shopping cart entering the wall.
Street Art: London is the graffiti and murals city, but when this all mixes in art, we find ourselves in front of one of Bansky’s masterpieces. In fact the buildings of London are full of Bansky’s stencils, this artist is a pacifist whose public comprehends both citizens and tourists, so that its art is for everybody. There is a three step tour for knowing his main works: Hoxton and Shoreditch, Farringdon and Clerkenwell, Waterloo, South Bank, Victoria and Embankment.
Scotland
Scotland-The Kilt: the famous ‘Scottish Jewel’ still in use for special occasions. The Kilt is often confused with the Tartan, the fabric used to sew it. The Tartan is the typical Scottish fabric in lines and squares, whose colour and motif are one per Scottish Clan (enlarged family). The Scottish are very serious about their Clan and Tartan, therefore considered more than flags because it honors both family and historical pride.
